Ad-based on sketchers template
For this picture I worked with Sarah. We used Sarah's little sister as our model. We are advertising a trip to Hawaii. We based our ad off of the Skechers Shape-ups shoe ad.

Fashion photo shoot
Sarah and I worked together on this. We chose to do a 'Fashion photo shoot' for one of our choices. We used dress up clothes and took pictures like we were models. We used a strobe light with a soft box.

Definitions
Aperture: An opening where light travels through
Shutter Speed: How long a camera's shutter is open when taking a picture
ISO Speed: Is a measure of a photographic film's sensitivity to light
White Balance: White balance takes away the unrealistic colors in the photo
Optical Zoom: Optical zoom changes the magnification of images with an optical glass
Auto and Manual Focus: An autofocus system uses a control system to focus automatically on a selected point
Wide Angle, vs. Telephoto, vs. Portrait Lenses: A 200mm telephoto lens would be 200mm long when extended. If the focal length is lower than normal, the lens will turn into a wide angle with the negative magnification. A wide angle lens makes a focused object appear larger than the background of the shot. A portrait lens picture quality depends on your position. You have to move around to get the framing you want. A portrait lens can enlarge the part of the photo that it is closest to
Flash: A flash producing artificial light at a color temperature of 5500 can help clear up and brighten the scene
Priority Settings: Av is Canon's Aperture Priority and Tv is Canon's Shutter Priority
Preset Functions: In these modes the camera uses the correct exposure and speed up the process by mainly fixing the exposure in the picture
